As mentioned in an earlier post this site has come under a bot attack recently. To mitigate that I suspended all new registrations to this site and deleted dozens of fraudulent accounts. This is an annoying part of owning a website.

The good news is that some measures have been put in place to solve that problem, the most visible of which is adding a reCaptcha to the login and registration pages.

With the new measures in place I have tonight reinstated the registration page. It should all be working fine but in the event of a problem you can contact me at [email protected]

Addition to the security upgrade I’ve addressed the loading speed of the site recently. There’s more work to be done on that front but it is actively being looked at.

Apologies for the lack of blog posts recently. As I’m Melbourne based I’ve been busy enjoying being out of lockdown for the last few weeks, a simple pleasure the rest of Australia has enjoyed for some time.  Rest assured I’ll try to put pen to paper, so to speak, in the next few days.
